James Burnham was a supporter of Trotsky, who also found it profitable to swing right and eventually became an editor and a regular contributor to William F. Buckley's conservative National Review. Tammy Bruce was the head of the National Organization for Women in Los Angeles who also went way right for the money. By the same token, lots of former Trump sycophants have come over to our side, sensing the writing on the wall for Trump and hoping to salvage their sweet careers and asses.
