I fully agree. All Repubs have to offer basically is tax cuts for the wealthy, which in and of itself is not all that popular, so in order to get more votes, they courted the crazies such as the religious zealots and the Neo-fascists. What the Republican cadre didn't count on was they completely took over the party when it became obvious Republicans simply cannot win an election without them. Now, they are stuck/labeled by these extremist positions put forward by these freaks.
