If this were to happen in the US, you can bet someone would try and sue the sun as well as all it’s subsidiaries. All kidding aside, having lived quite a lot of my adult years in Hawaii, I did know “Daylight Saving Time” doesn’t work well in the tropics, but I didn’t realize that would also mean southern Australia also.
