Just for the record, I'm not in the slightest bit opposed to the idea folks owning guns, and neither are any of my friends. That said, I always wonder why you folks in Texas never follow through on your threats to secede? I think you'd find a whole lot of people throughout the country would be happy to go along with it. After all, this "isn't 1861 anymore." Hell, I'm in California and wish we could secede also. We are the 6th largest economy in the world and contribute far more to the national treasury than we ever receive back. People in red states and blue states have almost NOTHING in common anymore. Why keep up this charade? Just a thought.
