Trump Calls the New Jobs Report a Great Day for George Floyd: After welcoming a surprisingly strong US jobs report on Friday, President Donald Trump ignited some serious controversy by claiming it was a “great day” for George Floyd — the man whose death in custody last week unleashed nationwide protests.
Well, nothing like a totally insensitive and inflammatory remark like that to get those Trump cultists ready to grab their pom-poms and shake, shake, shake — in splendid admiration for their “Dear Leader.”
