Well, the MAGAs (and their predecessors) have definitly somehow managed to capture the mantle of "Christian." I don't think their proclivity toward promoting hate and bigotry is ever going to capture the hearts and minds of most folks, but as a very aggressive political movement, they don't really need a majority to win.
